The wonderful convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) makes things around us seem smarter and even have the ability to make decisions.

With AI, devices that are connected to the internet will be able to simulate smart behaviour and support decision-making with little or no human interference.

This course will enable you to understand what AI is and the growing role of AI in IoT. We will survey major applications of AI in IOT and discuss how an organisation can embrace or deploy these technologies.

We will also explore how AI and IoT can redefine the way organisations function. The Python programming language which is the language for AI and IoT will be introduced. There will be hands-on exercises using Python. The various technology buzzwords will be explained using practical and non-technical applications. We will also discuss two real-life case studies on how AI and IoT are being adopted in the manufacturing and retail sector, as well as the future trends of IoT, big data and AI.
